Raheela Shaikh
Ms Raheela is the Head of the English Department and serves as the High School English, AP English, Literature, Women in Literature and Film Studies Teacher. She has a Bachelor's in English and Biology from the University of Texas in Arlington, and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Art in Education at the Liverpool Hope University. Ms Raheela is certified from the State of Texas in English as a Second Language. She has previously taught in Dallas, Texas and this is her second year at AAG
Kristin Smith
Ms Kristin is originally from State College, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the Pennsylvania State University. She is currently certified to teach secondary English Language Arts and Communications, as well as AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature. Her previous teaching experience was in Pakistan where she taught at the Internationational School of Islamabad. Ms Kristin currently teaches English 10, English 10 Honors, English 11, AP English Language and Composition, and the electives Creative Writing and Speech. she also leads the Photography activity.
Patricia Raynolds
Ms Patricia, has 36 years experience teaching. Most of her teaching career has been in private college preparatory schools in the USA. She has also lived and taught on a Native American Reservation, and has traveled with students throughout the world through the Round Square Conference of Schools to their international service projects and conferences. Her experiences include having dinner with Prince Andrew at Buckingham Palace and working in a remote village in the Himalayan Mountains of India. Ms Patricia likes to incorporate experiemental education, service learning and current events into her curriculum.Outside of the classroom Ms Patricia has raised three children, is an experienced quilter, has trained two Guide Dogs for the Blind, and is an amateur geologist. Ms Patricia has also designed and taught courses on the History of the Middle East , and has studied Islam to a limited degree. This is her second year at AAG
Jami Caskey
Ms Jami. is one of our High School Social Studies teachers. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a suburb of Seattle, Washington where she studied and received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington. Ms Jami previously taught Social Studies in Houston, TX. Along with preparing Social Studies coursework, Ms Jami loves traveling, current events and learning foreign languages
Melissa Loewe
Ms Melissa is from Maine in the US. She enjoys kayaking, hiking and boating on the coast and lakes in the US. Ms Melissa is enjoying her time in Dubai and teaching at AAG and she is looking forward to exploring and learning more alongside her students
Meghan Doucette Ms. Meghan is our Grade 7 & 8 Social Studies Teacher. She is from Prince Edward Island located in Canada. Ms. Meghan has her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick, Major in Sociology, and a Teaching Certificate in high school Social Studies from the University of Maine.
Elizabeth Mitchell Ms. Elizabeth, serves as the Secondary School Biology, AP Biology and Enviromental Science Teacher. She studied education and science in her home state of Oregan and received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Oregon State University and a Master's in Teaching from Pacific University. Ms Mitchell previoulsy taught Science in Salinas, California to Mexican - American Migrant students learning English as a Second Language. She then moved to San Francisco where she taught science to an African-American Urban Population. Ms Mitchell is now in her fourth year teaching at AAG.
Maysaa Enaya
Ms Maysaa, serves as the Secondary School Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Physical Science teacher. She received a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Jordan University and a Master's in Arts of teaching science and her teaching certificate from Univeristy of Texas. Ms Enaya previously taught Science in Dallsa, TX for grades 5-12 . Ms Enaya is now in her 7th year as a teacher and her third year teaching at AAG
Eileen Contreas
Ms Eileen was born in California and lived for most of her life in the Pacific Northwest.
She has a B.S in Education, Language Arts with a Bilingual/Multicultural minor from Northwest University. She has taken advanced course work at Portland State University in English, EAL and Curriculum Instruction. Ms Eilene has taught English, Literature, Social Studies and EAL in Oregon, Bahrain and Turkey. This is her second year at AAG.
Jennifer Pusker
Danielle Jantzi
Ms Danielle is pleased to join the AAG staff, originally from Northern New York. She attended Suny Oswego for her B.S in Secondary English Education, and Suny Potsdam where she attained her Masters degree in literacy. Ms Danielle has been teaching for the past 4 years.
Amber Hughbanks
Ms Amber is the math teacher for seventh and eighth grade. She attended college at the University of Washington where she earned a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and a Master in Teaching. This is her fifth year as a teacher. The first three years she taught at an Islamic School in the USA. Ms Amber runs the Robotics program, Matletics games and is the coach of the soccer team at AAG.
Samantha Anderson
Ms Samantha servs as the 7th & 8th grade Science teach at AAG. She is from Chicago, Illinois. Ms Samantha went to Western Michigan University for her Bachelor of Schience in educatin with a math, science and art minor. She has started a masters program in literacy. Before coming to AAG, Ms Samantha has taught in Guam, California, Illinois and Alsaka.
Wasan Azzam
Ms Wasan teachers high school Math and hails from Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts- Major in Math and Computer Math from Carleton University, a Bachelor of Education from University of Ottawa. She has taught in Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia.
