Marsha Husar

Ms Marsha, has been an elementary teacher for the past 15 years but has also taught 8th grade Math, Algebra 1 and Geometry. Ms Marsha has taught in the USA & Kuwait. She is looking forward to a wonderful and rewarding year at AAG.

Kimberly Palmer

Ms. Palmer serves as a  Grade 2 teacher and this is her fifth year at AAG. She hails from Nova Scotia, Canada.  She holds a BEd from St. Francis Xavier Univeristy and a Masters of Education from State University of New York.  Ms. Palmer previously taught English for Grades 7-10 at several schools in Nova Scotia. She also taught grades 1 and 2 at Abu Dhabi Grammar School and Grade 1 at the American Foundation of Monterrey in Mexico.

Janet Jackson

Ms Janet is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and this is her second year at AAG Last year Ms Janet had the pleasure of teaching a bunch of great girls in the 5th Grade and this year she is teaching Grade 3.  She has taught in Canada in various elementary grades and also in Guatemala for two years. Ms Janet has a diploma in Early Education and a Masters degree in Overseas Education. She says " It has been wonderful being here  and getting to know so many wonderful girls and their parents. Learning about and experiencing the culture in the UAE has been rewarding and exciting."

Erin Waugh

Ms Erin is from Montreal, Canada. She earned a BA from McGill University and BEd from the university of Ottawa.This is her third year at AAG. For the past two years she has taught eighth grade, but this year she is starting a new adventure with grade three!  Previously Ms Erin has taught students from Kindergarten to grade 12 in Korea and Taiwan. She also worked for years as an educational assistant for students with special needs in Canada

Laura Cianfrini

Ms Laura grew up in Ontario, Canada and completed her undergraduate degree at the Univeristy of Guelph. Then she went on to complete her Master's In Education at Medaille College in Buffalo, New York.  This is Ms Laura 3rd year at AAG.

Jennifer Caissey

Ms Jen is from Ontario, Canada where she attended Lakehead University for her higher education. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and her Bachelor of Education. She taught English in South Korea for one year, then came to Dubai. This is her third year as a fourth grade homeroom teacher at AAG.

Heather Albertson

Ms Heather is our 5th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher and is from Dallas, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Ms Heather taught 6th Grade in Richardson, Texas and worked for a non-profit organization in Mumbai, India prior to coming to Dubai

Shawna Terent

Ms Shawna is from British Columbia, Canada. She holds a BA and BEd from the University of British Columbia. This is currently her second year teaching at AAG. She has also taught in Kuwait, Malaysia, China and Canada. Miss Shawna is looking forward to a fantastic year of fun and learning in the Grade 5 Math and Science classes.
